Stupid Mummy
Zara is angry I left her.
When I called her on Sunday, she chatted to me, 'promised' to be a good and brave girl. Say Hi and bye nicely.
When I called her on Monday, she came to the phone, said, "Zara play ball", then quickly said bye and left.
When I called her this morning, she didn't want to come to the phone, I could hear her shouting, "Don't want mummy."
"Don't like mummy."
"Stupid mummy XXXXX" (XXXXX being my name)
Tuyam told me the whole of yesterday, she has been mumbling to herself, "Stupid Mummy XXXXXX."
Stupid is a word she picked up but I have taught her not to use, she never uses it when I'm around. She must be very angry with me for leaving her, using the word against me. *big sigh*

On shopping and eating, I don't find it so great here. I wanted to get shoes and clothes for Zara, but I have been shopping and couldn't find much.
Food has also just been so so (even with local colleagues' recommendation), the only nice food eaten so far is the roast goose... Aaaa, I would like to sink my teeth into another piece of the goose.

Yea, sometimes we can't help it.. and when we get reactions like these it hurts us too. Sometimes after scolding Ivan and see him reacting to the scolding like hide his face, or walk away from me, I feel hurt and mostly tell myself off too.. but most times it can't be helped. Just give Zara lots of hugs and kisses when you're back, kids are very forgiving... it just goes to prove that she misses you tonnes!

Aiks, how come shopping not good leh? I thought got a lot of choices and cheaper than KL.
Oh dear...she's really very sensitive for her age. But all should be well again when you get back. When are you going back?

Children have a way of showing their unhappiness. When I was admitted to hospital for early labour, Harvynna ignored me when I came back and kept hitting me and saying'Dont want mummy'. They probably feel like we abandoned them. Poor things!
Awww...Ahmeen must be feeling awful..*hugs* never mind, Zara miss you too much,that's why she's behaving this way. I'm sure she'll come to you with lots of hugs and kisses when you're back!:)
Zara really miss you a lot...Kids usually use the word 'Don't Want' when they are upset....
Hmm... I can never get enough of HK food! The dim sum, the dessert shops, the roadside stalls, and the different restaurants!
How long will you be away? I would say Zara's behaviour is pretty good for mommy's 1st trip (after having her). She must be wondering how come mommy dearest still not back. Try using the calendar to help her understand when she will be able to see you again and to expect you to be back.
Eu is always excited seeing me striking the day off and counting the days left on the father's trips.
Zara is very very angry. Wat to do? Have to go for work.I wonder how Keith would react if I leave him for a few days.
