Zara's Way, Zara Says

She likes to hold on to Mr Blue in the day as a comfort object.. But in the night, she will do away with Mr Blue, preferring the linen cloth instead. She says, "Daddy's cloth, Mummy's cloth (referring to our blankets), Zara's cloth" She saw Daddy working on our clogged drain pipe on Sunday. When the plumber came and worked on the problem, she pointed to the plumber and said, "like Daddy." She thinks all trucks are rubbish trucks. She says, "Rubbish Truck!" when she sees one and then fans her nose and says, "Smelly". She orders her meal. For breakfast Tuyam makes her oat, she will say, "put banana" or "put raisin", depending on what she wants. For lunch, she requests for "fish ball" or "bread and cheese". For dinner, she wants "steam fish and pork" (although we never cook pork at home and let her settle with fish). She requests to have us read her a book before bed time. "Read book book!" and then chooses her own book. "Crab book" (referring to my DK Visual Encyclopedia, she likes the pictures, especially on the living things) "Big book" (referring to her First 1000 Words Book) "Snake book" (referring to her Size Book, as there's a big snake on one of the pages) (her top 3 favourite) And on days she prefers a story to be told, "Maisy book" or "Mr Night book". She thinks mummy is her jukebox. "Mc Donald!" She looks at me and says. Asking me to sing the Old Mc Donald song. or "Bingo!" or "Baby" (and she would proceed to lie in my arms) referring to Rock A Bye Baby. She sometimes asks Tuyam to sing too, but Tuyam will be singing out of tune or forget the words, and Zara would say, "Kakak don't know one!"

Heehee... I got a feeling that next time she might grow up to nag at Mommy but really, it's cute to catch them say a new word; I felt the same way too when the Imp muttered Bubble's name out of the blue!

Oh, the "read book book" part is the same as my boy. Don't you get bored repeating the same books again and again? But to kids, they just love to hear them over and over again. Dunno when will my boy get fed up.

Potential Mom,
Yeah.. she's very chicha now..

May,
Her intonation and pronunciation is not perfect like an adult. So only ppl used to her chatter will be able to make out what she's saying. :P

LB,
Can say already.. sure.

Domestic Rat,
You kind of get surprised right when they utter new words just so suddenly.

Gene,
Nowadays they start very young.. having their mind of their own. I'm definitely looking forward to her being 16.. not.

Jasmine,
Yes.. very clever to demand nowadays.

Vien,
All the talking non-stop to her pays off.. :)

Simple American,
Woh.. well.. I guess I'll loose out in all future arguments?

Jefferene,
You think it's the nature of girls?? But it's quite fun right? For now.. :P

Sesame,
Or her Karaoke disc. :P

Blurblur,
Good idea.. ask her to pay me.. then I'll sing.

Jesslyn,
Already burung murai.. but sometimes she's very quiet. I think quite moody one she.

Egghead,
Somehow hor, she's able to tell who'll let her command around (Maid), and who can't (me).
So she only bullies my maid.

Mom2Ashley,
Yes.. yours will come soon.. sooon.. :)

Sue,
Ivan too is good.. I like him saying he wants susu.. cute.

Geetha,
Oh yeah.. something we'll all have to go through as parents huh?

Rachel,
Yes, I know about the Her World article..
Er.. maybe I should post a post about it huh? Just for rememberance.

Helen,
Yes.. at this age.. Can't imagine when she's older.

Jasom,
Just hope she knows how to recipocrate too.. not like some people I know leh.. always 'kek' the mother. :P

Blogie-Talkie,
Zara likes the books only.. not the video.. I think b'cos there's no singing. Unlike Barney..
Good that Brayden likes it. Zara is one who likes music, dancing, singing a lot..

Mumsgather,
I'm loving for now.. yes.

Two Little Fellas,
That's right.. I must have worked too hard when I was pregnant with her.

Shoppingmum,
Yeah loh.. every night same few pages she'll go through.. I sometimes get tired. :(

Maria,
She always bully kakak and "窒”kakak one. And very clever to 看脸色. Who can bully bully, who cannot, then she won't.

Hui Sia,
Yes she is.

LB,
Alamak!
